In February of 2007, Bishop Adam G. Lopez, Jr. celebrated forty years as pastor of the Union City Apostolic Church. Little did Bishop Lopez know when he became pastor at the young age of 27 that he would lead the local assembly for the next forty years. During those forty years, Bishop Lopez has led the local assembly through two church expansions projects, he pioneered the first Christian school, Apostolic Faith Academy (now Union City Christian Academy) within the Apostolic Assembly, and introduced the first preaching conference, Endtime Restoration Conference, within the organization. Bishop Lopez also spearheaded the first women’s conference, Renewing My Spirit, and the first youth conference, Next Dimension Conference, sponsored by a local church. Throughout his years as pastor, Bishop Lopez has taught the local assembly to trust in Christ, to walk by faith, and to believe that He is able by leading the local church in worship and praise regardless of the circumstances. Truly we can emphatically state that Christ has honored the Bishop’s faithful walk. Email:alopez@nationalmissions.org
