R.E.A.C.H. America With the Gospel
The Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Jesus Christ, Inc., through its department
of National Missions, has for the past several decades been fulfilling the mission
of sharing the gospel throughout the United States by establishing new
churches in cities not belonging to an established district. The nation has undergone
tremendous demographic, economic, and technological change since the
inception of the National Missions Department in the early 1960Õs.
Among the demographic changes, the most pertinent is the huge and rapidly
growing U.S. Hispanic market, which numbers more than 35.3 million, or 12.5%
of the U.S. population, according to Census 2000 figures. It is now the world's
fifth largest Hispanic market and the United States will see its Latino population
reach 86.9 million by 2025. That number will make it the second largest Hispanic
market in the world, behind Mexico, according to Strategy Research Corp.'s
2000 U.S. Hispanic Market Blue Book.
The mission is clear and focused, we must R.E.A.C.H. our home front (America)
with the gospel. We will use the word ÒreachÓ as an acrostic to fulfill the
strategic vision and achieve our stated goals and objectives. R.E.A.C.H. stands
for:
- Results Oriented
- Excellent Commitment
- Add Healthy Churches
- Care and Supervision
- Heightened Leadership Skills
We stand on the preface of the greatest moment in the history of the Apostolic
church. God has empowered his church to fulfill the ministry of Jesus by
spreading the Gospel of salvation which is the revelation of GodÕs power. Utilizing
this power we will, in turn, empower others in our pursuit to evangelize
America with the Good News.
